International Basketball Camp Boki Nachbar will be organized in city Koper in Slovenia for the 18th time in a row. Last year was a success with a record number of participants, and we can’t wait for the start of this year’s camp.

Boki Camp will be held at Elementary School Koper in two shifts, first shift is from 14 to 20 July 2024, and the second shift is from 21 to 27 July 2024. It is offered to boys and girls ages 7 - 18. The camp is suitable for beginners as well as for players with advanced basketball skills. If you are in love with basketball, want to have some fun and want to meet new friends, join us!

BOKI NACHBAR "PRO SKILLS" BASKETBALL CAMP

Last year, we added an additional shift to our offer, in which the BOKI NACHBAR "PRO SKILLS" BASKETBALL CAMP is organized, which is intended for young basketball players between the ages of 12 and 18 who train regularly at the club and have adequate prior knowledge of basketball.

BOKI NACHBAR "PRO SKILLS" BASKETBALL CAMP will have a special focus on improving the specific technical skills of young basketball players whose desire and goal is to play basketball on top level. It will take place at Koper Elementary School between July 10 and 13, 2024. The number of participants is limited, as the training will be organized in small groups with an individual approach. The training sessions will include exercises of offensive skills, with a special emphasis on ball handling, various lay-ups, shooting and finding solutions in 1:1. In addition to daily intensive work on the development of basketball skills, the following workshops will also be organized:

athlete's nutrition,
prevention of sports injuries,
mental training with a sports psychologist,
agility and body coordination training.

This year, we are adding an additional shift to our offer, in which the BOKI NACHBAR "PRO SKILLS" BASKETBALL CAMP will be organized, which is intended for young basketball players between the ages of 12 and 18 who train regularly at the club and have adequate prior knowledge of basketball.

New dates for Boki Camp 2023

Team Basketball Camp Boki Nachbar already started the preparation and organisation of International Basketball Camp Boki Nachbar, which will take place in Slovenia for the 17th time in a row. The camp will be organised at Elementary school Koper, where we have excellent conditions for the camp implementation.

Because of a lot of interest, camp will be organised in two shifts:

week: 16. - 22. July 2023,
week: 23. - 29. July 2023.

Registration will be open in the middle of February.

In this epizode Boki and Anže talk to retired NBA player Jim Jackson, who was Boki’s teammate in Houston. Jim had a great NBA career and played for many successful teams and coaches. He shares his views on NBA basketball in the 90’s and compares it to basketball today and talks about his time with Sacramento Kings and teammates such as Divac and Stojakovic. He explains what he belives is important for a team to have in order to become a championship caliber team. They all agree NBA game is headed in the right direction.

Boki leads his team, as Sevilla beats Andorra

It took extra time for Sevilla to defeat Morabanc Andorra as Boki and his teammates played in overtime to finally get the win. Final score was 88:81. Boki was very productive as he managed to score 18 points, get 2 steals, 2 assists and 1 rebound in 28 minutes. This was 14th win of the season for Sevilla as they trail by 2 wins behind the 8th spot, which still leads into the playoffs. Sevilla will play next game on the road this Sunday, when they face Zaragoza.

Sevilla winless on the road

Baloncesto Sevilla lost on the road against Tenerife in round 30 os SPanish ACB League. FInal score was 90:71 for the home team. Boki was struggling from the field as he was shooting 1 for 10. He scored 5 points and had 1 rebound in 19 minutes. Sevilla is currently ranked 12th with 12 wins and 18 losses.

With 4 games remaining in the regular season, Baloncesto Sevilla trails by 3 wins to Bilbao in the race for the 8th and final spot for the playoffs.

Easy win for Sevilla

In round 29 of Spanish ACB League, Baloncesto Sevilla defeated Movistar Estudiantes 82:59. Boki was quite productive as he scored 11 points with 6 rebounds and 4 assists in 28 minutes of action. This was 12th win of the season for Sevilla which puts them at the 11th spot.

Boki and his teammates will travel to Tenerife, where they face off against team Iberostar in round 30.

The Details #9: Wim Hof

“Iceman “ Wim Hof is a dutch daredevil who holds over 20 records in Guinnes book of records. He has unique ability to withstand extreme cold. Trough his exercises, workouts and breathing techniques he has achieved many exeptional and unique performances, such as sitting nearly 2 hours in ice, swimming under ice for almost 70m, running marathon above the Arctic circle, climbing highest mountains only in shorts… Wim is also able to control his autonomic nervous system, which he proved with many scientific tests. Many of these achievements may seem “superhuman”, but Wim insists: "What I can do, everyone can!” He talked to Boki and Anže about his life, his methods and described a feeling of hanging on one finger at an altitude of 2000m!

Boki scores 32 as Sevilla comes up short in Badalona

In round 22 of Spanish ACB league Baloncesto Sevilla lost on the road against FIACT Joventut. Final score was 89:83. Boki had a great game, as he scored 32 points in 26 minutes along with 3 rebounds. With this performance, Boki finished 1st in scoring in round 22. Sevilla is currently ranked between 13th and 16th spot as they won 7 times in 22 games.

Sevilla couldn't handle Andorra

In round 16 of Spanish ACB league, Baloncesto Sevilla lost on the road against Andorra. Final score was 92:73. Low shooting percentage from beyond the three point line and free throws was one of the main reasons for another loss. Sevilla also lost the battle in rebounds. Boki scored 12 points and grabbed 4 boards in nearly 18 minutes of the game.

Sevilla will play their next game at home against Manresa.

Blowout in Madrid

In round 15 of Spanish ACB league Real Madrid hosted Baloncesto Sevilla and won in a blowout game 107:83. Sevilla had no chance tu upset the host as Madrid started with a high pace and won the first half by 27 points. Boki played 19 minutes and scored 8 points along with 1 rebound.

Sevilla will play another road game next weekend when they face team Morabanc in Andorra.
